I love designs that look much more complicated than they actually are.
The Boheme Granny Dress is one of those projects. At first glance, it looks like it took lots of shaping and careful construction, but it's actually made from just 4 granny squares.
That's what makes it such a fun project.
Each granny square is identical. You'll join two to create the front panel and two to create the back, then seam everything together before finishing the neckline, armholes, and hem with a simple round of single crochet. The result is a relaxed, oversized summer dress that's surprisingly easy to make.

View PatternLike all of my made-to-measure patterns, there's no size chart to follow. Instead, you'll crochet your granny squares to fit your own measurements. As the squares grow, the dress becomes both wider and longer, making it easy to customize the fit for your body from the very beginning.
One of my favorite features is the adjustable drawstring. If you'd like the dress a little shorter, simply weave the drawstring a few rounds lower through the skirt before tying it around your waist. It gently gathers the fabric into a soft blouson effect while shortening the length, so you can easily change the look whenever you like.
For my sample, I used Omoiut Milk Cotton Yarn with a 3.5 mm crochet hook, but you can use any yarn you like. Since this is a made-to-measure project, the amount of yarn you'll need will vary depending on the size you make.
