These pants were born from the same base as my Granny Stitch Shorts, but with a breezy twist. I’ve always loved crochet pants—they’re full of holes, which makes them surprisingly wearable in the heat. This time, I wanted a wide-leg shape that flares gently toward the bottom. I actually calculated all the shaping before I even picked up my hook, but I was still a little nervous the legs might turn out too wide. Turns out… they’re perfect. So much air in the legs! And they’re not just for summer—you can easily wear them over tights on cooler days. Just like the shorts, they pair beautifully with my Ruffle Me Up Top.
