It's been a while since I designed a new sweater, and honestly? I've been craving one. Something I could throw on with my favorite jeans for everyday wear; casual, comfortable, and effortless. That's exactly what inspired the Sway Sweater.
The perfect everyday sweater
I wanted a sweater that works with everything in my wardrobe. Jeans? Check. Leggings? Absolutely. Dress pants for a polished look? Yes! The A-line silhouette creates a flattering, flowing shape that drapes beautifully without clinging. It's that versatile piece you reach for again and again.
The extended single crochet stitch creates a soft, comfortable fabric with just the right amount of drape, not too stiff, not too loose. It falls naturally and moves with you, making it perfect for all-day wear.
Beginner-friendly construction
Even if you've never made a sweater before, the Sway Sweater is the perfect place to start. Worked seamlessly from the top down with a raglan yoke construction, there's no seaming at the end (my favorite part!). You can try it on as you go and adjust the length to exactly what you want.
