Construction & Techniques
- Both the hat and scarf are worked as rectangles, sewn together at the ends to form the final shape.
- The scarf is finished with one round of slip stitches in the back loop only (slst blo) along the top and bottom edges for a clean border.
- The hat is also finished with a round of slip stitches in the back loop only for a ribbed effect along the bottom edge.
This pattern uses intarsia crochet, which involves working with multiple yarn bobbins or small balls for each color block. Yarn is not carried across the back but instead switched carefully for a clean design.
