I needed something fast, satisfying, and just a touch indulgent, so I pulled out my Summer Breeze Cropped Top notes for a quick remix. A couple of Diamond Stitch repeats later and Kiri was already taking shape. Think of her as the airy, puff‑sleeved update to that warm‑weather favourite: extra ruffles, more drape, same hypnotic 10‑round texture.
Kiri is an inviting challenge for intermediate crocheters who enjoy rhythmic repeats and playful shaping.

The Diamond Stitch’s 10‑round repeat means each round builds slowly, so these videos run longer than usual. I snipped every spare minute without losing the juicy bits. Keep the PDF open beside you—it’s the perfect co‑pilot. 🧶

Notes
- This top is made top-down using the raglan technique, with a longer yoke than usual to create that oversized look.
- First, you’ll work the yoke. Then you’ll separate the sleeves from the body and add ruffles around the waistband, sleeves, and neckline.
- It’s completely seamless — you’ll only need a needle to weave in a few ends when you’re done.
- The fit is intentionally oversized. If you prefer a closer fit, just size down.
- Pattern includes instructions for customizing the top’s length.
- Work with a 4 mm hook unless it says otherwise.
- Watch my YouTube video tutorials for any uncertainties.
