Bobble Stitch
- Yarn over, insert hook in the stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two.
- Repeat number one in the same stitch until you have a total of 6 loops on your hook.
- Yarn over, pull through all 6 loops.
- You will start by making the front and back panels and sewing the shoulders together. Next, craft the sleeves. Then, sew the sides of the body together. Finally, complete the project by working a round of single crochet stitches and bobble stitches around the neckline and cuff.
- Top is cropped (40 cm length), but it can be easily lengthened. For the front panel add rows before the “curly girl” and after. As many rows you’ll add before the “curly girl”, that many you need to add after.
- At the end of each row ch 1 and turn.
- Ch 1 doesn’t count as a stitch.
- Work with a 3.5 mm hook unless it says otherwise.
- You will be working with sc: when instructions say “(A) x 88 (92, 98, 104, 110, 112)” it means 88 (92, 98, 104, 110, 112) sc sts with yarn A. 88 for XS, 92 for S, 98 for M, 104 for L, 110 for XL and 112 for 2XL.
- When the instructions say “(B) x 9 *bo, sc*” it means you will be making bo in the next st, sc in the next and you will repeat for the next 9 sts (finishing with a bo in the last, 9th st).
- When the instructions say “(B) bo” you will be working 1 bobble stitch with yarn B in the next st.
- When working on the hair with yarn B make sure you use a 3 mm crochet hook to meet the gauge.
