Forked Cluster Stitch
- First Forked Cluster Stitch (Ffc): yo, insert hook into indicated st, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yo, insert hook into the next st, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook), yo, pull through 3 loops (3 loops on hook), yo, pull through remaining 3 loops.
- Forked Cluster Stitch (Fc): yo, insert into the same st as last st made, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yo, insert hook into the next st, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook), yo, pull through 3 loops (3 loops on hook), yo, pull through remaining 3 loops.
Foundation: Chain any number of chains.
- Row 1: ffc in 3rd ch from hook (skipped 2-ch does not count as st), fc across, dc in same st as last st made.
- Row 2: 1 ch (does not count as st), turn. Sc in each st across.
- Row 3: 2 ch (does not count as st), turn. Starting in 1st st, ffc, fc across, dc in same st as last st made.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until desired height.
- You will begin by creating two panels, front and back, then sew the shoulders together and work on the neckline. Next, you will make the sleeves and attach them to the panels. Finally, sew the sides of the body and sleeves together and finish with the pocket.
- Work with a 4 mm hook unless it says otherwise.
- Ch 2 doesn't count as a stitch.
