Flower Stitch
- Step 1 : 2 dc into the same st.
- Step 2 : *ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, slst* into the post of the last dc, repeat from *to* 1 more time into the same dc post.
- Step 3 : *ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, slst* into the post of the previous dc, rep from *to* 1 more time, then ch 1. Your first 3D fl st is complete.
- Ch 2 doesn’t count as a stitch.
- You will begin by crocheting the body of the panel, followed by the bust section (you will make 2 panels - 2 body and 2 bust pieces). Once these pieces are complete, you will sew them together. To finish, you will crochet a single round of single crochet (sc) around the neckhole and armholes.
- To make the top longer, simply add additional rows to the body section where the flowers are being crocheted.
- To ensure the flowers lay flat on the fabric, they should be blocked.
