Lolli Top was born the moment I realised the sleeves from my Desert Wind Dress deserved a spotlight of their own. I kept that same breezy, un-seamed drape—so they glide off the shoulder and flutter freely down the arm—but reinvented everything else: no bust elastic, a brand-new arcade-stitch body, and three joyful cotton colours. The result is an intermediate-level crop whose straps, length, and sleeve drop you custom-fit as you go—light, airy and ready for summer.

  • The pattern includes instructions for customizing the top length, sleeve length, and strap for the sleeve length to suit your fit and style.
  • Chain 1 to start a row doesn’t count as a stitch. Always place your first stitch in the same stitch you chained out of.
  • Chain 2 to start a row doesn’t count as a stitch. Always place your first stitch in the same stitch you chained out of.
  • Chain 3 to start a row counts as both a double crochet and a chain 1 space. Do not place the first stitch in the same stitch you chained out of (it counts as filled).
  • To select your size, measure your bust circumference; it should be the same size as the corresponding finished measurement listed in the Finished Measurements section for the intended fit or about 5 cm (2 in) larger.
