Puff stitch (PS)
The puff stitch is usually worked over an odd number of stitches. It’s a multiple of 2 plus 1. For example, if you begin your foundation chains with 17 stitches, you will have 16 stitches in your row, which gives you an even number of stitches to apply the puff stitch multiple of 2.
*YO, insert the hook, YO and pull up a loop* 4 times (9 loops on the hook). YO and pull through all 9 loops.
