Specialty Stitch

Popcorn Stitch

Crochet 5 dc stitches into the specified stitch. Remove your hook from the loop left on it from the last dc you made and insert your hook under the top of the first dc stitch you made (under both the front and back loops). Now insert the hook back through the loop from the last dc (the loop you took off your hook). Pull that loop through the first dc to complete the popcorn stitch.

  • This pattern includes a full video tutorial designed to clarify any techniques or steps that are better demonstrated visually than explained in writing.
  • The skirt is worked from the hem up. You’ll make two panels, sew the sides together, make a chain, and finish by weaving the chain into the waistband.
  • Instructions for adjusting the skirt length are included in the pattern.
  • Odd numbered rows on the “Body” are the RS.
  • Ch 2 at the beginning of each row doesn’t count as a stitch
