  • You will begin by crocheting a single piece that will form the front, bottom, and back panels of the bag. Next, you will create the two side pieces and attach them to the main panel. Then you will finish by working rounds of single crochet along the upper edge, and add the handles.
  • This pattern uses intarsia crochet. Intarsia crochet involves using separate yarn bobbins or small balls for each color block, ensuring that yarn is not carried across the back of the work. Follow the color chart carefully and manage yarn changes neatly to maintain a clean finish.
  • At the end of each row ch 1 and turn.
  • Ch 1 doesn’t count as a stitch.
  • Row 1 is the foundation chain.
  • You will be working with sc: when instructions say “(A) x 5” it means 5 sc sts with yarn A.
