Double crochet V-stitch

Chain in multiples of 3 + 3.

Row 1: (dc, ch 1, dc) in 4th ch from the hook (skipped 3 ch counts as dc), * sk 2 chs, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, rep from * until 2 chs remain, sk 1 ch, dc in last ch.
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), turn. (dc, ch 1, dc) in each ch 1 sp across, dc into top of ch 3.

Rep Row 2 until desired height.

You will make 2 panels (front and back), then make the sleeves. Sew the shoulders together, attach the sleeves, then seam the body sides and sleeve seams to complete the sweater.
The ch 3 at the beginning of the row counts as a double crochet.
