Use the hook size recommended for your yarn, or go down a size or two to get a firmer, sturdier fabric. You want the case to hold its shape and protect your laptop, not be too soft and floppy.

Flower: approx. 6 cm / 2.4 in wide - based on sport weight yarn and a 3.0 mm hook. Your results will vary depending on the yarn you choose.

This case is worked flat as a rectangle, folded in half, and seamed along the sides. The flower and leaves are made separately and attached to finish.
