Herringbone Half Double Crochet
- Yarn over, insert hook into next stitch and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook)
- Pull first loop straight through the second (similar to a slip stitch)
- Yarn over, pull through two remaining loops on hook.
- You’ll begin by working the cowl neck, then move on to the yoke. After completing the yoke, you’ll separate the body and sleeves. Continue working on the body, finishing with the sleeves afterward. The ribbing at the bottom is created separately and then attached. At the end you will make the pocket and sew it on the dress.
- Ch 1 doesn’t count as a stitch.
- Even numbered rows on the cowl neck are the RS.
- Instructions for adjusting the length of the dress and the length of the sleeve can be found in the sections for the body and the sleeve.
